Havelock

With over 300 Catalyst homes, Havelock Estate, Southall is a diverse area with a strong sense of community – with some residents having lived in the area for over 30 years!

Havelock is home to the Grand Union Canal, Bixley Fields and The Sharks canoe club – with beautiful nature and green spaces; as well as the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall - which is the largest Sikh temple in London.

As well as a resident group, there is a community centre on Hunt Road where customers can meet and also connect with Catalyst colleagues.

Current projects include ‘Let’s go Southall’- which is aimed at helping local residents to get physically active; as well as the popular Sharks Canoe Club taking place on the Grand Union Canal. We’re also launching some new community projects to promote community engagement after COVID-19, this includes the back yard nature project and open Havelock project.

How can I help?

We'd love you to complete our short survey. Tell us why you love where you live, and how you'd like to improve it.

There’s also a map for you to add the places you love to visit near you. This will help us understand more about what is on offer in your community.

How will I know what's happening?

Follow the project for updates and to be the first to hear about ways to get involved in opportunities in your community. Or, if you want to get more involved in what we’re doing and you’re a Catalyst customer, why not sign up to The Garden?
