Our proposal to join with Peabody Group

At the beginning of August, we announced our proposal to join with Peabody Group. We believe that joining together will enable us to invest more in our homes, communities, technology and people; and deliver better services to you.

We invited you to have your say during a six-week consultation which closed on Friday 17 September 2021. After careful consideration of all the feedback, the board decided to proceed with the proposals, and we will now work towards Catalyst joining Peabody as a subsidiary from 1 April 2022.

Later this month, we’ll publish a summary of the consultation results, our plans, and next steps. In the meantime, you can view our latest customer FAQs here.

    Thank you to all customers who shared their feedback on our proposal to join with Peabody Group.

    Customer consultation ran for six weeks, closing on Friday 17 September. During this time, you could feedback to us using our website, dedicated email, by phone, attending one of our virtual drop-in sessions, or by using the form in your customer consultation pack, we posted to you.

    We’ve now collated all of the most frequently asked questions from customers and would like to share these with you. You can find them in the Documents section on the right hand side of this page.

    We’re committed to continuing to update our customers throughout the proposal. We’ll be sharing the decision on the proposal with you on our website chg.org.uk and our October magazine.

    Our six week customer consultation has now closed.

    We’ll be holding three drop-in online consultation events via Zoom on the following dates. Click on the date to access the link on the day.

    Thursday 26 August, 10am-12pm
    Wednesday 1 September, 1-3pm
    Tuesday 7 September, 6-8pm
